The W – Hollywood – Los Angeles Review

The W - Hollywood

Hot day in sunny California and lounging by the pool seems to be the popular idea but you aren’t sure where to go. If this is you and your group, head to the W Hollywood rooftop in Hollywood.

The W Hollywood is a luxury hotel with incredible views right on Hollywood Blvd, that has a pretty rooftop.

The views of this place are more uptight, but the decor says party. With pink and purple decorations, it put you in the cute feeling mood without you even knowing it.

Cocktails here go for $15-18, and beers $9-12, with bottle service being available starting from $250-3,000 if you ball like that.

The hotel has guests from all over that scream money so the crowd is a mature crowd that wants to hang out poolside, and doesn’t really want to dance unless they’re 15 drinks deep and their friends make them.

From what we’ve seen here, the best day to go is Sunday, get a cabana and wait for the day party to start. The music is always top 40, but the DJ’s throw in hip-hop and house every once in a while.

Everyone dresses trendy, or sophisticated. This looks like a cute summer dress with nice heels on women, and a nice fit t-shirt and pant pair on men.

The ratio is decent here, 60:40 in favor of men, but they’re respectful and leave you alone when you ask them. W Hollywood is somewhere you should BYOG(bring your own girl if you have one. It isn’t the best to mingle, or making new friends so bring your best people and make the most of it!

We’ll be at another rooftop, but wish you the most fun.

The Arygle – Los Angeles Review

The Argyle

If you’re one of those people that think everywhere on Hollywood Blvd is lit, you’re about to be reaaal disappointed.

The Argyle is a popular place, but does popular always mean good? Not in this case. The Argyle is the place all the locals love to avoid, if you bring up The Argyle, they look at you with a face of disgust.

A lot of the people that go here are very basic and most likely drink Starbucks twice a day — just so you understand the crowd. This place is known for favoring certain body types including gender, color, weight, and overall appearance…

It wouldn’t be the worst experience of your life if you’re coming from out of town as the music is a great mix of hip-hop and top 40 and it isn’t extremely expensive. If you’re a tall, gorgeous girl, you won’t have to wait in line at all. However, if you’re anything else, you will have to wait in line, and may even be turned away or charged an outrageous price for cover.

The Argyle has bottle service available and is a 21+ club. IF you end up staying, bottle service is pricey but worth it to have your own space as the club gets extremely packed and sloppy around 11:30 pm. The best(best should be used loosely) day to check it out would be Saturday but they’re open Friday-Sunday till 2 am.

Also, if you’re driving in LA, parking is always a pain to find. Most places offer valet for an extra fee $20-30 or you can try your luck with street parking which ranges from $6-10.

A lot of ladies here wear short-short skirts and provocative tops. If you just got your nipples pierced and want to show them off, this is the spot! Guys kept it casual in jeans and t-shirts. No one looks extremely classy or put together like other spots in LA, which is why we think your time would be better served somewhere else. Were here to do the dirty work so you don’t have to.

The Argyle will not be seeing any of The Nokturnal Group again.

Florentine Gardens – Los Angeles Review

Florentine Gardens

You’re in LA looking where you can go party but you just turned 18. Guess what? You’re in luck, we found Florentine Garden’s District Friday’s.

The place you go if you’re 18+ to dance and hang with your friends, but you cannot purchase alcohol, ah yes, the days we all remember.

This place is honestly a no-go if you’re over the age of 19. There is absolutely no reason you need to go party with a bunch of fresh party kids unless you’re babysitting your younger sibling. With that being said, it’s a fun environment if you are young.

Florentine is a big venue with 2 rooms. The first room is a hip-hop space where you can see some good DJ’s and possibly celeb hosts. The other room is a Latin room with great vibes, and a whole lot of dancing — sloppy, and good.

This would be the place to flex the outfit you bought from Fashion Nova. Lots of the girls wore the same things you would see on Instagram and guys were a little more subtle in jeans and shirts with a fresh pair of shoes.

Expect to get run into a lot here, and drinks to be spilled. It’s an immature crowd that has no idea how to party, yet. There is bottle service available for birthdays and is pretty expensive like all places in Los Angeles. As a group, we think bottle service 9/10 times enhances the experience and almost always recommend it.

Florentine Gardens has a $15-30 cover, and parking right beside it which ranges from $10-20 which is extremely helpful. Heres an idea, park there and go somewhere else!

If you’re thinking of going here, you’re too young to be on this website.

The Highlight Room – Los Angeles Review

The Highlight Room

The Highlight Room

Fancy rooftops with great Hollywood views sounds like a real treat, doesn’t it? We went out and found a good spot for the fancy views in the sky – drinks included.

The Highlight just off of Hollywood blvd is your typical rooftop hangout spot. With good food, strong drinks and music, there isn’t much else you can ask for – maybe lower prices, but that’s a whole other topic.

Located on top of the Dream Hotel, this spot won’t disappoint a visitor or a resident of Los Angeles. During the day The Highlight is filled with beautiful women in bikini’s, and fit, great-looking men strutting their stuff poolside. This is the place you see in movies.

They offer food and drinks along with a great view. They have a pool which you aren’t allowed to enter unless you purchase a cabana, and let me tell you, the cabanas are worth the cash. Bottle service, and a spot to chill? Sign Mr.Nokturnal UP.

The party starts here Thursday and ends on Saturday. Entry to the lounge is up to the doormen, and likely will be based on your attitude and outfit. Like most spots in LA, you should be dressed trendy, and like you’re a famous Instagram person ready to show their spot of to your millions of followers. Dresses, skirts, tube tops, and cute shoes are welcome here, ladies. Avoid the typical flip-flop vibe. For men, shorts, button-ups and trendy beach-wear are good to go. Basically by looking like Zac Efron going to the beach and you’re guaranteed entry.

This place is pricey. You’re looking at $10 and up beer, $15 and up cocktails and an expensive dinner. Plus, remember street parking or valet is another added cost.

They have a DJ that spins live music which is usually typical lounge sounds that include top 40 mixes with hip-hop involved and some EDM.

At night, the vibe completely changes to a more relaxed vibe where you can have better conversations with the party-goers. It seems the day party is always more uptight. They make sure the ratio is always more females than males, and everyone keeps it classy here.

Regardless of night or day, this place is the spot to keep things going. They’ll be seeing us again.

Avalon – Los Angeles Review

Avalon

Previously known as The Hollywood Playhouse, The WPA Federal Theatre, El Capitan Theatre, The Jerry Lewis Theatre, The Hollywood Palace and The Palace – any of those ring a bell? – and now know as Avalon in Hollywood.

Avalon hosts a lot of events. From known artists, to up and coming DJ’s, award shows, your birthday, boxing matches, hell, I even think they would host a dog show here. Anyways, the point is, this venus is massive enough to host all of those things, and pack a crowd – pack might be exaggerated, but people go.

They’re a 18+ club on Friday’s and 21+ on Saturday’s(thankfully). Friday’s pull in a young crowd, naturally, and if you’re over 21 you have to wear a wristband to order drinks and lets be real, do the wristband colors ever go with our outfits?

Saturday’s are a better day to go as the crowd is a little more mature. The younger party kids go home early, but the veterans? They stay partying all night as this club is open until 8 am. Yes, 8 am. If you’re a seasoned drinker, this is the SPOT for you! When everything else closes at 2 am, go to Avalon. The Friday party keeps it going until 5 am, and Saturday until 8. That’s hectic.

Lots of different types of people but overall everyone is friendly. Dress code is to keep is casual, nothing too fancy and nothing too sloppy. Kinda dress like you’re meeting your partner’s parents for the first time by going to their house for a dinner. You don’t want to kiss ass, and you don’t want to put them off.

Drinks are more pricey here, $11-15, and you’re probably better off buying bottles if you’re with a big group. This would be an epic place for a birthday or any other celebration, but not the best place to meet and talk to people as the music is extremely loud. Better to BYOG – bring your own girl – then try and seduce one successfully.

If there is a dope event, you’ll see us here. If we’re still partying after all the other places close, you’ll see us here. Other than that, there are a lot of better venues in Los Angeles to go to.

Playhouse – Los Angeles Review

Playhouse

There are always those clubs all the locals like to avoid, but coming from out of town is hard to know. Don’t worry, we figured it out for you. In Hollywood, this place is Playhouse.

Playhouse is a medium-sized, ratchet club in Hollywood that specializes in birthday celebrations. If you’re looking to turn 21+ with a bunch of local fiends, this is the place to do it.

Thursday nights are para la cultura with reggaeton and Latin hip-hop spinning all night. Fridays here are always a gamble with different celebrity hostings, you’ll never know who you’ll see. Saturdays are total hip-hop nights with the newest and most popular beats spinning all night.

The reason locals avoid this place is sole that there are better clubs in Hollywood with more space, more respect, and less likely to fight. The vibe here is neutral, like yes, you can enjoy yourself, or hate your night – but this place doesn’t induce anything exciting.

Lots of skin is to be shown at this club, so the less you wear the better. Bras and pants? If that’s what you want to do, this is the place for that. A cool new jumpsuit you want to stunt for the ladies, guys? This is the place for this. Most of the time, the ratio is 65:35 in favor of men.

The door isn’t hard to get into to, and the cover is $20 for ladies, $4o for men. Drinks average $16-18 per cocktail and $8-10 for beers. This is more of a place for a table, and bottle service will for sure make this experience 30x better.

In conclusion, there are better places to go, but that is up to you to decide, we simply went to review and share the knowledge.
