Juliet Club Review

Everleigh Club Review

As we all are big fans of love – or lust – we want to go somewhere we can feel that. Toronto’s juliet promotes romance, and honestly, you can feel the love.

juilet’s theme is based on Romeo and Juliet, and they want you to know. All about the romance and up’s and down’s that come with it, juliet is open Thursday-Sunday with different themes each weekend.

At juliet, they like to vary the music according to the day. For example, Thursday is Hip-Hop, Raggae, Trap, and R&B(bias, that’s what we like), then Sundays it’s Hip-Hop and mashups with ladies from before midnight.

This venue is the spot you want to go to on a Thursday and because they’re packed on Thursday, naturally they’re busy during a weekend night. To get a full vibe of juliet, you might as well just take a long weekend of partying and going Thursday-Sunday to grasp what they’re about. But if thats not you, then a weekend/Thursday night will do.

Sometimes they have exotic dancers in cages, burlesque dancers on stage, and is very, very geared towards a femae audience. Their entire instagram is full of pictures of pretty women, and thats exactly what they attract.

Lots of weekends are extended hours, but double check as the days vary. This is a spot you want to show up to around 11-11:30pm, which is the time things tend to get spicy. The door is a little hard to work so be ready to buy a table to get in, or know somebody prior. The cover is around $20-40, and women are free before certian hours but always make sure to double check their Instrgram.

juliet is mostly a hip-hop spot that spins mixes, latin music, and top 40. Somedays you can walk into the trap house, and other you feel like you walked into a prom day.

Bottles are always a great choice as they enhance each experience, and gives you privacy. Drinks here are expensive, and you’re looking at $20-30 for a couple drinks. If you’re going out with the squad, it’s a great idea to pool money together and just get a table and you’ll probably save money, and be able to flex just a little harder.

Wearing your cutest little dress with those brand new high heels is a great idea for this club, as is wearing trendy outfits such as black n-necks, jeans, and nice shirts – guys, that piece of advice is for you.

Will we be back? Yes, we enjoyed it. Let us know how you feel after you try it out.

MUSIC

Music was a mix of old and new top charted hip-hop records and kept the vibe of the club chill.

Lost & Found review

Those elite nights where you and your squad head out, looking fresh, feeling good, and ready to party. You know those nights you can’t quite remember, but will never forget? Those nights happen at Lost and Found.

Lost and Found is the type of club everyone goes, knowing it’s about to pop off at any given moment. You might see a celeb, you might buy 7 bottles, and you might even end up going home with someone you didn’t come with, you feel me?

Saturday nights are crazy nights at this place, and you’re going to want to either get a man on the inside, make a reservation or show up looking hotter than anyone in the city.

The doormen here will not let you in if you don’t look like the trendy/classy vibe they’re looking to maintain. Women, anything tight, well put together, and stylish is allowed – dresses, ripped jeans and a tube top, tight jeans and a shirt with heels or boots. Men, nothing too baggy or weird, just a nice shirt with jeans, a button-up, and you can even wear a nice collard shirt.

Cover ranges anywhere from $10-30 depending on your crew, and what time it is. Lost and Found doesn’t open till 11 pm, but quickly fills up around midnight so it is always best to get there early. The average drink here costs $10-15, and are made fantastically.

Bottle service here is a must because it enhances the fun that much more. You can be in your world in the booths but still be apart of the action enough to maintain the vibes, it’s a perfect set-up.

The ratio is 60:40 in favor of women, but can quickly turn to 50:50 depending on the mood. The atmosphere is pretty good but can get stuck up fast. Their Saturday crowd tends to be “high-rollers.”

However, their Monday night clientele is totally cool. Monday night, Lost and Found is the place to be. Everyone is a lot laxer, and the dress code isn’t as strict.

Everyone on Monday is just trying to have a good time after work or keep the weekend vibes going. There is no going wrong here as the party rages on.

The music is always hip-hop here with top 40 mixed in no matter what day you visit. Some DJ’s are better than others, but L&F does a good job keeping the crowd dancing.

Basically, Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday all bring in a different crowd, but the vibes remain the same: lit.

Lost and Found will for sure be seeing us again.

Rooftop at The Thompson – Toronto Review

Rooftop at The Thompson

You’re in Toronto, and you wanna see the views Drake always talks about, but where do you go? Don’t worry, we got you covered.

The rooftop at the Thompson Hotel has the best ambiance, views, and drinks to offer.
When you arrive at the hotel, there are multiple clubs you can go to. If you want a more underground place, go downstairs to Wildflower, but if you want open space, fresh air, couches, and food, head upstairs to The Rooftop. Cover depends on what is going on that night but varies between $10-20.

The rooftop offers day and night vibes and is absolutely the hot spot in the summer. You can purchase bottles, but it isn’t necessary here. They have a pool which is open when the weather is right(Canada, eh? always cold) and you can enjoy that while you’re partying. It opens 5pm on all weekdays, and 12pm on weekends. Thursday-Saturday it stays open till 2am, and Sunday-Wednesday 1am.

Security is nice, but professional as well as the other staff members. Everything here was run really well. The ratio was great and wasn’t too packed for a Friday night when we checked it out. The age range is 21-30 and isn’t a place a 19-year-old would go to. It’s typical to see guests of the hotel, members, residents and the public come here as it is voted as one of the best rooftop lounges in Toronto.

The crowd was mature and upscale but relaxed and comfortable. There isn’t a dress code, but it’s a place you’re going to want to look nice. There were a lot of beautiful people here. People weren’t really speaking to strangers but they weren’t opposed when a conversation was struck.

It’s a great spot to bring a date, go with a group, and spend an entire day. The food here was tasty, some vegan options, and great cocktails that were reasonably priced.

Honestly, a great spot to hang out in the sun and party at night. Everything was beautiful here. The Nokturnal Group highly recommends if you’re in Toronto for the summer.

Woody – Toronto Review

Woody

Toronto is a city full of diversity, so naturally, pride weekend is a big deal. Canada was the first country to legalize gay marriage, so Toronto celebrates like no other place in the world. We found a historic gay bar to celebrate at, and it’s called: Woody’s.

Woody’s was built in 1989 and has been running the scene on College since. While it’s constantly busy, pride brings it to a whole other level.

On a regular basis, Woody’s has weekly drag queen performances, along with a decorating team that keeps the inside extra, and in theme with the seasons. You may or may not be shocked walking in here depending what level of glam you’re used to.

The staff here are friendly and open and while most of them are men, they are a lot of straight girlfriends that go to hang out, or, lesbians that drink the cheap beer and have a good time. The atmosphere is pretty non-judgemental but slightly stuck up if you don’t “fit in.”

Woody’s never charged a cover, except for pride, where there were too many people that wanted to go in  – didn’t matter though, everyone still wanted to go. This spot is either the perfect pre-game or to end the night kind of place. I couldn’t see anyone spending an entire 4 hours here, but hey, to each their own.
The drinks are at a reasonable price, and they have a good selection of drinks. They have a dance floor, however, it isn’t really a “dance” kind of spot. It’s more of a bar to find a hot boy for the weekend or to make out with someone – or simply chat.
Overall, it has a light and fun atmosphere and is probably the best place to go on College if you’re looking for a gay bar.

Woody’s could be seeing us next pride.

Rebel – Toronto Review

Rebel Nightclub review

Looking for a place that offers more than one vibe, and different genres of music? Check out one of the biggest spots in Toronto, Rebel.

Rebel is probably the furthest club to get to in Toronto, but that doesn’t stop the young crowd from pouring in every weekend. With Rebel offering shuttles from 1-3am to union station, it makes it difficult to say no! They also have a parking lot across the street, which is $20 to park, and honestly, quite a pain in the ass to leave or find parking when it’s busy.

Placed on the waterfront, Rebel is the place to see any artist you love, or simply check out of pure curiosity. Their main stage is aways set-up beautifully and has a great vibe to any party-loving-concert goers. They have bars upstairs and downstairs, so no matter where you’re seated, you’re covered.

The atmosphere in Rebel is a little clicky because of how young the crowd usually is, but still fun enough for people who like to get trashed with their friends in a big space. The vibe here is upbeat, and little immature, not in a negative way but more so in an i-might-get-sloppy-and-spill-my-drink-on-strangers way.

Rebel offers different rooms with different genres of music playing. From Latin to hip-hop, pop, and even dubstep, there is room for everyone. The ratio fluctuates but somehow is always close to a 50:50 which is nice. The guys here tend to flock the ladies, which is what it is, so just beware.

Dress code is casual, with nothing too baggy. They will let in kids fresh out of high school, but not drug dealers so find something in between if you’re going there on a random weekend. It’s always safe to dress stylish and trendy! To have the best experience at Rebel, make sure you know which guest is there that night, and get bottles so you can have your own area – up top is the best.

The staff are friendly and will take care of you, or help with whatever is needed. The average drink price is standard for Toronto, around $10 a drink but who can complain, right. Overall the Rebel has its own special thing going on, and if you want to go, then go.

They will only be seeing the Nocturnal Group went dope enough artists come to town. Then we’ll be rolling.

Toybox – Toronto Review

ToyBox

Let’s talk about a dope spot in Toronto decorated in the latest art trends, has snacks, and is a great time: Toybox.

Located on Adelaide St. West, Toybox is the perfect mix of current trends, Latin vibes, and a great time. Toybox has 2 floors, one is the main floor dedicated to hip-hop and the second level floor is a Latin dance floor to spice things up.

This could possibly be one of the best new clubs in the city of Toronto because it offers snacks. Now, I’m not saying I’m bias or anything but a club that offers free popcorn? How can you say no?

Not only do they entertain their huge crowds with food, but also with good music, a clean building, and a less uptight dress code – oh, and there is a dancing bear that goes around the club, too.

With all of those things considered, it does cater to a young crowd, typically between ages 19-25 bringing in a solid ratio of 55:45 in favor of men. With how laid back it is, the men don’t really hover over the women, and everyone seems to be enjoying their time in an open atmosphere.

Toybox is typically open Thursdays & Saturday, but occasionally they’re open Friday’s as well. Some nights Toybox has special events, and if you’re looking to keep up with those, their website is up to date, and so is their Instagram. It would be worth keeping up with because depending on the event, it gets WILD there.

The cover is typical $10-20 depending on what’s going on, and drinks are reasonably priced, averaging around $8. You can purchase bottle service, which ranges from $400-$1,500 depending on the package you get. Will this better your experience? Probably.

Verdict: We might stop by again!

Lavelle – Toronto Review

Lavelle

Lavelle

Summer is about to go OFF in Toronto, and you’re asking “where can I go to catch the summer 19’ vibes?” The Nokturnal Group only comes with answers, and here is one: Lavelle.

When you step into Lavelle, you understand why everyone gravitates towards it. It’s in a subtle location yet nothing about the prices say subtle. This lounge is the place people drop $20,000 and don’t even flinch. If you’re ready for that type of party, this is it, and if you’re not that’s fine. You can still enjoy yourself with a couple hundred dollars.
Lavelle has 3 pools open to the public for a fee that includes towel service, or you can purchase a membership that includes a guest, towel service and daily bed rentals. You can reserve a table at Lavelle, here: http://chezlavelle.com/reservations/. The layout for the times looks complicated, but to make a reservation is very simple! Table service here is available at the Gold Bar Lounge or Le Jardin, but only for the summer – so get in now while you can to enhance this experience!

This is the type of place that if you go with a group of friends you really enjoy, you’re going to have a great time. It isn’t the type of place to go alone and chill, even though I’m sure it wouldn’t be an awful experience. It would be an ideal place to lounge around in the day on the weekday or weekend, and a good pre-drink spot if you want chill vibes before a club night. It is located in King West which makes it the ideal place to go because it’s in proximity to everything else you could want.

Dressing up nice is the minimum at this place. Even though it doesn’t state that there is a dress code, you won’t be able to get in with simple clothing or athletic wear. Women dressed in dresses, heels, and summer wear while men dressed in business clothes or in an expensive t-shirt and jeans combo. The ratio was fair, probably about 50:50 and people were relaxed and mature. No one was too rowdy, but it was clear that security would handle any situation well.

Lavelle is the spot. Period. It will be seeing the Nokturnal Group basking in the sun and glory of the vibes here.

Wildflower Toronto Club Review

Wildflower Toronto Club Review

Those small clubs that make you feel at home, but also get you fired up are usually hidden gems in every city. One of Toronto’s hidden gem has claimed its territory on Sunday’s. The day you think about going out on but never know where to go, and now you do.

Wildflower is in is the film area of Toronto, so it’s always an interesting mix of people hanging around. Luxury vehicles parked out front, rooftop lounge inside the hotel, and another bar in the lobby make it packed and energetic.

Wildflower is underground, right beside The Thompson hotel, and its cozy environment makes it very unique. The vibe of Wildflower is great, and you can dress up, or you can wear fashionable streetwear. Depends on how you’re feeling, but either way, you’ll fit in because when you look good, you feel good and you dance good.

If you’re looking for a place to vibe out on a Sunday, Wildflower is the place to be. Now, everyone knows if a place can be poppin on a Sunday, it must be hella lit on the weekends. Guess what? Wildflower is.

Weekends are exceptionally exciting as they have dancers, great DJ’s and hardworking staff that make the experience a memorable one.

The price for everything is fair, especially for Toronto. Roughly $8-14 a drink, and it draws a mature crowd. It’s easier to get in with a guest list, but if you’re a woman who knows how to talk their way into the club then you shouldn’t have a problem or be faced with a cover. The cover depends on the night but the average is $15-25.

Wildflower has an Instagram that is consistently updated with photos and events, so you’ll know who is appearing, performing or djing. Along with that, the music varies every night.

It’s not one of those clubs you walk into and wonder why you’re there but rather when you walk in you’re excited to be apart of the nice decor, and atmosphere.

Sunday night, we’re at wildflower. Weekends, we’re probably still at wildflower.

MUSIC

The music varies per night, but Sunday’s are usually top 40 and a hip hop mix.
