Perch – Los Angeles Review

Jazz music, sunset views, good food, and a nice ambiance? Yes, Perch LA has it all.

Perch is one of those rooftops that you take a date to, you go with a small intimate group, and have a great dinner/pre-party. Open till 2 am, Perch is in a great location for the party goers of the Downtowncore.

Great cocktails here with an average price of $12-15, $8-10 wine or beer, with an excellent food menu.

Dressy-casual dress code, or going out wear does this place just right. With all of the beautiful people in LA, it’s always nice to dress up. Lots of women here wear trendy outfits such as dress pants and tube tops, dresses with high heels and cute clutches and everything in between. Men tend to stick to button-up shirts and dress pants or v-necks and jeans.

When the live music starts, diners turn more open and get a little friendlier. Around 10 pm is when the party is getting really good and chairs are pushed out of the way. There is usually a huge line that forms around 10 pm, so if you want to get in without a hassle, show up early! Waiting for the amounts of people to get up the elevator is just so tedious, and can be easily avoided.

Music switches from jazz to a more upbeat set with top 40 and hip-hop – especially on the weekend. During the weekdays the vibe is usually more casual, and mature then the weekend comes and everyone’s attitude becomes more like, “yes, let’s order 10 drinks, why not?”

Overall, Perch is probably one of the best rooftops in DTLA, which means, you can bet your ass we’ll be there.

The crowd this place pulls in is a younger hip-hop one, with good vibes and friendly attitudes. There isn’t a dance floor here, so it’s more of a chill spot to start the night. However, it’s a fairly large venue that you can still dance around if you wish. Towards the weekend, the crowd gets a little more ghetto, so if that’s you, this is the perfect spot.

Bottle service is available and packages can be discussed in person, or on their website. It’s open 7 days a week till 2 am and gets a lot of traffic from the public which can be seen as great or not great.

Ratio fluctuates during the day and gets more of a 50:50 towards the evening parties. On the weekends you can expect to see more men than women here. The ladies usually dress in less clothing on the weekends like little shorts with tube tops, see-through shirts, anything from the GIA or fashion nova catalogs. Men on the weekends tend to go for shirts and jeans, black pants, or anything else that is trending.

Ace is a good spot to go for nice music, hangouts, and meeting new friends. We hope to see y’all there sometime.

Yes, it is 21+ and a mature crowd. Being Downtown, it attracts all the condo owners of the area and a lot of businesspeople. With that being said, you either get a day where everyone wants to unwind and be crazy, or they’re more reserved. Everyone dresses trendy, fashionable in their nicest beachy/pool wear. Looks of cute summer dresses, and shorts. No flip-flops though.

Open 7 days a week until 2 am, this rooftop gives you the perfect opportunity to enjoy any time. Bottle service starts at $400 and continues to go up according to the size of your group. Drinks are average LA prices, $13-17 for a cocktail, and roughly $7 for a beer or wine.

With all the amenities, it costs to get in and cover ranges from $10-40 depending on the day you decide to go. The music is always a casual rooftop vibe with top 40, hip-hop, house, and even some throwbacks.

The good news about this place is if you like it, you can check out the one on Sunset Blvd, or in New York, Miami, or London, England.

This is a great venue to go if you want to relax with friends, hang out with a special someone and do all of the extra things, or meet new people. The atmosphere is mature but friendly enough that you’ll be able to fit right in and have a good time – if you’re cool, can’t promise anything otherwise.

You can catch the Nokturnal group here soaking up the sun.

The W – Hollywood – Los Angeles Review

The W - Hollywood

Hot day in sunny California and lounging by the pool seems to be the popular idea but you aren’t sure where to go. If this is you and your group, head to the W Hollywood rooftop in Hollywood.

The W Hollywood is a luxury hotel with incredible views right on Hollywood Blvd, that has a pretty rooftop.

The views of this place are more uptight, but the decor says party. With pink and purple decorations, it put you in the cute feeling mood without you even knowing it.

Cocktails here go for $15-18, and beers $9-12, with bottle service being available starting from $250-3,000 if you ball like that.

The hotel has guests from all over that scream money so the crowd is a mature crowd that wants to hang out poolside, and doesn’t really want to dance unless they’re 15 drinks deep and their friends make them.

From what we’ve seen here, the best day to go is Sunday, get a cabana and wait for the day party to start. The music is always top 40, but the DJ’s throw in hip-hop and house every once in a while.

Everyone dresses trendy, or sophisticated. This looks like a cute summer dress with nice heels on women, and a nice fit t-shirt and pant pair on men.

The ratio is decent here, 60:40 in favor of men, but they’re respectful and leave you alone when you ask them. W Hollywood is somewhere you should BYOG(bring your own girl if you have one. It isn’t the best to mingle, or making new friends so bring your best people and make the most of it!

We’ll be at another rooftop, but wish you the most fun.

The Arygle – Los Angeles Review

The Argyle

If you’re one of those people that think everywhere on Hollywood Blvd is lit, you’re about to be reaaal disappointed.

The Argyle is a popular place, but does popular always mean good? Not in this case. The Argyle is the place all the locals love to avoid, if you bring up The Argyle, they look at you with a face of disgust.

A lot of the people that go here are very basic and most likely drink Starbucks twice a day — just so you understand the crowd. This place is known for favoring certain body types including gender, color, weight, and overall appearance…

It wouldn’t be the worst experience of your life if you’re coming from out of town as the music is a great mix of hip-hop and top 40 and it isn’t extremely expensive. If you’re a tall, gorgeous girl, you won’t have to wait in line at all. However, if you’re anything else, you will have to wait in line, and may even be turned away or charged an outrageous price for cover.

The Argyle has bottle service available and is a 21+ club. IF you end up staying, bottle service is pricey but worth it to have your own space as the club gets extremely packed and sloppy around 11:30 pm. The best(best should be used loosely) day to check it out would be Saturday but they’re open Friday-Sunday till 2 am.

Also, if you’re driving in LA, parking is always a pain to find. Most places offer valet for an extra fee $20-30 or you can try your luck with street parking which ranges from $6-10.

A lot of ladies here wear short-short skirts and provocative tops. If you just got your nipples pierced and want to show them off, this is the spot! Guys kept it casual in jeans and t-shirts. No one looks extremely classy or put together like other spots in LA, which is why we think your time would be better served somewhere else. Were here to do the dirty work so you don’t have to.

The Argyle will not be seeing any of The Nokturnal Group again.

You’re in LA looking where you can go party but you just turned 18. Guess what? You’re in luck, we found Florentine Garden’s District Friday’s.

This place is honestly a no-go if you’re over the age of 19. There is absolutely no reason you need to go party with a bunch of fresh party kids unless you’re babysitting your younger sibling. With that being said, it’s a fun environment if you are young.

Florentine is a big venue with 2 rooms. The first room is a hip-hop space where you can see some good DJ’s and possibly celeb hosts. The other room is a Latin room with great vibes, and a whole lot of dancing — sloppy, and good.

This would be the place to flex the outfit you bought from Fashion Nova. Lots of the girls wore the same things you would see on Instagram and guys were a little more subtle in jeans and shirts with a fresh pair of shoes.

Expect to get run into a lot here, and drinks to be spilled. It’s an immature crowd that has no idea how to party, yet. There is bottle service available for birthdays and is pretty expensive like all places in Los Angeles. As a group, we think bottle service 9/10 times enhances the experience and almost always recommend it.

Florentine Gardens has a $15-30 cover, and parking right beside it which ranges from $10-20 which is extremely helpful. Heres an idea, park there and go somewhere else!

If you’re thinking of going here, you’re too young to be on this website.

Hyde was a very cute interior and exterior making it an Instagram worthy night out. If you’re going here, make sure you dress like you know what’s up. They aren’t afraid to reject you once club time starts(roughly 9 pm) if you’re not looking like the people they want to attract a.k.a famous Instagrammers, YouTubers, and celebrities. A lot of women wore tight, classy dresses and other trendy outfits while men wore collard shirts, clean shoes, and nice pants. No sportswear.

This would be an ideal place to bring a date, you go for the food and can stay all night for the drinks… takes 0 planning!

The atmosphere at Hyde is a more mature crowd that understands what an expensive night in Los Angeles looks like. If you’re coming for the club as a group of males, you better be ready to buy a table or bribe the security like a mf.

Everyone here is gorgeous, and a little stuck up which is typical for this area of the city. If you want those hippie vibes, go down towards and Venice/Santa Monica and you’ll get the surfer dudes. With all that being said, it isn’t hard to make conversation over some of their strong-tasting drinks.

You can expect to see The Nokturnal Group at a table here.

Le Jardin – Paris At Night- Los Angeles Review

Le Jardin - Paris At Night

We’ve hit the nail on the head with being able to bring you to a club that transports you to other major cities.

The thing that sets Le Jardin apart from other places is it turns into “Paris at Night.” The outdoor lounge is decorating to bring you the capital of France vibes.

This is the place you’ll see A-list celebs and other famous people. Of course, you need to be somebody to get in or make a reservation. To get a man on the inside is recommended here, or buy a table at the door. It’s a hard door to get into, but not impossible! Bring some extra cash to wave around, and you’ll be good.

If you’re wondering about outfits, think nothing less than sexy and classy. Nothing trashy here, just all upscale, designer wear. Women dress to the 9’s, some in silk dresses that cling in all the right places with red bottoms and others in the latest tube top trends, and men wore the type of trendy fits you already know cost a lot. If you’re not a somebody, look and act like it here.

The drinks are above average price here, $15-18 but are worth it. Cover can be anywhere from $20-50 depending on the event – to keep up with the events, find them on social media or their website.

They always make sure they have a good ratio, usually 65:35 sometimes even 70:30 always in favor of women – who are very gorgeous here. But that’s LA, a lot of beautiful people, and a lot of plastic surgery. Most people that come here are nice enough, so coming with a friend or even a group works.

Yes, they will be seeing us again having a fun night in “Paris.”

Lure

Lure is kind one of those clubs where it’s either a big hit or a complete miss. Because of how big the venue is if there isn’t a lot of people it automatically will turn you off.

The club is run by the Sunset Entertainment Group who manage artists from around the globe a.k.a the talent they see in LA.

When the club is packed, there is usually no room to move on the dance floor because it’s catered more to booths – buying bottles here is probably the true way to have fun. However, with the little room you have on the dance floor, if you’re creative enough, you’ll be able to have a good time and shake some ass.

Long line-up time is expected 20-30 minutes if you don’t look like young Johnny Depp and Kate Moss or know someone who knows someone. And when celebs come to this club, you better be one of them to get in because boy oh boy is it a pain at the door.

Dress code here is your time to shine with that thotty outfit you’ve been yearning to flex in. This applies to both women and men. You just got 5 new chains and want to wear them with your shirt buttoned down? Want to wear top and bottom grillz? This is the place to do all of that.

Music is mostly mixed by bigger named DJ’s and is mostly hip-hip/top 40 with a dash of some EDM every once in a while and even infused with Latin beats occasionally.

This place can get a little ratchet, so beware. It’s the place guys don’t listen when you tell them to back off the first time, you’ll catch yourself say it 2 or 3 times before they walk away. Ladies are a little more extra here, and you’ll walk into loud conversations in the bathroom but just like we always do, jump on into the gossip and you’ll become one of their girls.

Will The Nokturnal Group come again? If they hook it up, and Travis Scott is there about to turn it into a rager then yeah, we’ll be there.

Located on top of the Dream Hotel, this spot won’t disappoint a visitor or a resident of Los Angeles. During the day The Highlight is filled with beautiful women in bikini’s, and fit, great-looking men strutting their stuff poolside. This is the place you see in movies.

They offer food and drinks along with a great view. They have a pool which you aren’t allowed to enter unless you purchase a cabana, and let me tell you, the cabanas are worth the cash. Bottle service, and a spot to chill? Sign Mr.Nokturnal UP.

The party starts here Thursday and ends on Saturday. Entry to the lounge is up to the doormen, and likely will be based on your attitude and outfit. Like most spots in LA, you should be dressed trendy, and like you’re a famous Instagram person ready to show their spot of to your millions of followers. Dresses, skirts, tube tops, and cute shoes are welcome here, ladies. Avoid the typical flip-flop vibe. For men, shorts, button-ups and trendy beach-wear are good to go. Basically by looking like Zac Efron going to the beach and you’re guaranteed entry.

This place is pricey. You’re looking at $10 and up beer, $15 and up cocktails and an expensive dinner. Plus, remember street parking or valet is another added cost.

They have a DJ that spins live music which is usually typical lounge sounds that include top 40 mixes with hip-hop involved and some EDM.

At night, the vibe completely changes to a more relaxed vibe where you can have better conversations with the party-goers. It seems the day party is always more uptight. They make sure the ratio is always more females than males, and everyone keeps it classy here.

Regardless of night or day, this place is the spot to keep things going. They’ll be seeing us again.
